Women date when they want to date

If you've been dating for a good while, you've probably noticed that some women have this tendency to say "I just got out of a relationship and I'm not ready to date." Is it true?

Yes and no. If a guy dumps a girl, she can be really heart broken, and she may go through a phase where she doesn't want to leave the house, change out of her sweats or put the ice cream down. She may go through a man hating phase. She may venture into lesbianism for a bit. She could be really upset, and she'll run right into the arms of the friend she loves like a brother.

However, generally if I girl dumps a guy, she's ready to move on. Not in every case, of course, there are always exceptions. However, if a girl has broken up with one guy, she generally is looking for another right away. Girls date a guy when they want, regardless of whether it's right after a relationship or not. They date when they want to date. If a girl has been out of a relationship and she says that she isn't ready to date yet, most likely she means that she is not ready to date YOU. This could be for a multitude of reasons, like she could possibly not be attracted to you but wants to spare your feelings. Most likely, she has already drunkenly moved on, or is pursuing a someone that isn't you. How many times have you had a girl dump you and then date someone the very next week? She was obviously ready to date, and was very possibly dating that other person before breaking it off with you.

Please consider "I'm not ready to date" as a red light rather than a yellow light. It's most likely there to deter you rather than detain you. Waiting it out is not the way to play this, just keep moving and see if the next intersection gives to a green light greeting.
